Roy Fields

Roy Fields is a worship leader originally from Binghamton, NY and has been on the road full time since June of 2005 traveling all over America with his wife Melanie and their 2 children. Roy has now come along side with Fresh Fire Ministries to provide that atmosphere of worship for the seeker to press in and touch God. His heart for music started when he was only 11 years of age. One night in a good old fashion bible study in Upstate New York,there was about 60 people jammed into a living room and 5 guitarist were playing while everyone else was worshipping the Lord.This was the first time Roy had ever felt the tangible presence of God in his life. And so began the desire to lead worship and write music.In that meeting, Roy asked the Lord to give him the gift of music, and God did. Roy has never taken any lessons.  At the age of 12, Roy led his first worship service for a small youth group using the guitar that his mother purchased for him at the Salvation Army. His passion for music began to grow for the Lord as he would spend hours and hours each night for years after school just worshipping God in his bedroom. By age 18 Roy had learned piano, bass, & drums. After never taking any lessons, Roy went on to become the music minister for The United States AirForce as well as a few local churches.He has ministered in music for other Evangelists such as Dr. Rodney Howard Browne, RT Kendal, Jack Taylor, and Todd Bentley. During the ministry of worship, people have reported in meetings of how they were instantly healed and set free from all kinds of illness and depression. Roy believes there is a day coming when the congregation’s voices take over the sound of the entire band with worship. It will only come with hunger and desperation.
