Torchbearers

We believe that all our young people are carriers of God’s presence, who will stir up a generation with passion for Jesus, who have a radical faith in a big God and friendship with Holy Spirit, and who can affect the culture in which they live. 

Our heart for the Torchbearers is about them building relationships with Father God, Jesus, Holy Spirit and with each other, and to train, equip and release them to carry the fire of God's presence to the nations. In Torchbearers we are committed to raising up young people who know how much they are loved by God and love Him, and are hungry to live their lives through the empowerment of Holy Spirit.

As Torchbearers the young people are encouraged to serve and be active members of the Church family.

Torchbearers is for children aged 3 to 14. We meet together on Sunday mornings as part of the Family Service, and divide into three age related groups. Bible based teaching is at the centre of Torchbearers. At present the oldest Torchbearers group is following the ‘Children’s Supernatural Curriculum’ by Deborah Reed of Bethel Church in Redding, California.
