Connect Groups

“…Where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them.” (Matthew 18:20)

Connect groups are an important part of River Centre Church life.  They provide an opportunity for fellowship and pastoral support.  Most groups meet on a weekly basis in the evening at someone’s home.  Everyone within the church is encouraged to join a group.  These evenings are spent in prayerful anticipation of the Lord’s presence and in encouraging and supporting each other. Activities vary from group to group, but include,  worship, prayer, teaching, prophecy, and prayer for forgiveness, restoration and healing.  Many members of the church find belonging to a group an invaluable source for seeking greater intimacy with the Lord.

They are also a great way of meeting new Christian friends and many groups organise a range of social activities throughout the year.
